Check to Bill Pay makes unpaid vendor bills visible to easily manage payments.
Previously, you wrote checks to vendors without often linking to open bills. This resulted in finding the relevant bill across all open bills in the company file, when trying to link. Now, QuickBooks 2019 prompts and guides you to link checks with open bills. QuickBooks 2019 will also show only open bills for that vendor, for quick access and accounting done correctly.
Data File Optimization is a simple, self-serve solution that allows you to reduce the size of your company file and to help improve file reliability.

Inactive Items in Inventory Report is a new filter that includes/excludes inactive inventory items to give an up-to-date assessment of inventory.
Previously, Inventory Valuation Reports and General Ledgers didn’t agree because of Inactive Inventory Items. You would have to manually calculate the value of inactive inventory to ensure your books are done correctly. Now, QuickBooks 2019 includes inactive inventory items in valuation reports for accurate valuation. With a check box, simply include or exclude inactive inventory items in the valuation reports. This will save time while accounting for inactive inventory items.
Robust IIF Reports has improved IIF importing, that checks the data before importing and generates a report of issues if the import failed.
