The Long-Awaited Release of QuickBooks 2019
QuickBooks 2019 Release Date: September 17th, 2018
The much-anticipated QuickBooks 2019 will be released on September 17th, 2018. QuickBooks 2019 includes many new features, with some improved features as well.
QuickBooks Pro, Premier, and Accountant 2019 includes new features such as: invoice status tracker, transfer credits, check to bill pay, easy upgrade (Plus only), move QuickBooks to another PC, data file optimization, robust IIF imports, inactive items in inventory reports, Intuit data protect, and improved accessibility.
For QuickBooks Enterprise 2019, enjoy all of the new features that are included in QuickBooks Pro, Premier, and Accountant 2019, along with other exclusive features such as: manage payroll permissions, enhanced pick, pack, and ship (Platinum only), and reliable sick and vacation (Payroll only).

Inactive Item and Industry Reports
Purpose: A filter to include/exclude inactive inventory items that provide an up-to-date assessment of your inventory.
Benefits: Save research time with inaccurate inventory reports, have confidence knowing that your inventory is up-to-date, and help consolidate inventory value for accounting with these reliable valuation reports.
Check to Bill Pay
Purpose: Provides customers with a consolidated view of outstanding invoices from a vendor without manual queries so they can easily manage payments.
Benefits: Easily keeps track of what is owed to vendors (from check to bill pay), prompts customers to link checks to open bills, and when writing a check to a vendor, it shows only open bills for that specific vendor.
Invoice Status Tracker
Purpose: Provides real-time visibility of invoice statuses to expedite collections and improve cash flow.
Benefits: Manages and improves cash flow by quickly tracking invoice statuses at a glance.
Purpose: Simplified one-click transfer of credits across customer jobs for streamlined workflow.
Benefits: QuickBooks allows transfer credits across jobs quickly, easily, and without needing special accounting knowledge, QuickBooks does the accounting in the background so customers don’t have to, and QuickBooks prompts customers when credits are available across jobs as new invoices are created.
QuickBooks 2019 for Desktop: New and Upgraded Features for Enterprise
Manage Payroll Permissions
Purpose: Tightened payroll permissions ensure only users with explicit authorization are able to view transactions and payroll reports.
Benefits: Explicit permissions to view payroll reports prevent access by unauthorized personnel and protect sensitive information.
Enhanced Pick, Pack, and Ship
Purpose: Visibility into all sales order information from a single dashboard for pick, pack, and ship status which increases speed and accuracy for order fulfillment (QuickBooks Enterprise Platinum only).
Benefits: Allow picking of partial orders and shipping separately, provide packing instructions through mobile devices paired with the company account, integrates with third-party shipping companies (FedEx, UPS, and USPS) to record costs directly into QuickBooks and print carrier-specific shipping labels, and shows real-time warehouse updates by providing line-tracking.
Reliable Sick and Vacation
Purpose: Provides greater visibility into employee sick and vacation accruals, balances, and shortfalls while increasing compliance with state mandated maximum accrual rates (Payroll only).
Benefits: Alerts the time keeper of negative sick time balances when approving timesheets, displays accrued, used, and available sick time on employee pay stubs for greater clarity of sick and vacation time use and balances, and complies with state mandated maximum sick time accrual rates.
