Convert Sage 100 to QuickBooks

Convert Sage 100 to QuickBooks Enterprise

Why Convert Sage 100 to QuickBooks Enterprise?

Converting your accounting system is not the easiest do-it-yourself project for businesses to handle. DL & Associates have trusted engineers and programmers who have over 15+ years of Sage software experience and data analysis, plus over 25+ years of QuickBooks experience. With this experience, when we import your data into QuickBooks, it is set up properly from the start. An implementation from one software to another will never be an overnight task, since there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration: Customer List, Vendor List, Inventory List, Costs, Average costs, Chart of Accounts, Accounts Receivable, etc. It is important to have a trusted team assist you and your business with converting your financial data from an ERP system (such as when you decide to convert Sage 100 to QuickBooks Enterprise).

Sage 100 vs QuickBooks Enterprise Chart of Accounts

Sage 100 allows you to create an account with up to 32 characters and 10 segments. This software also supports user-defined fields at a transaction level. This is what increases the reporting capabilities and departmentalized balance sheets. QuickBooks Enterprise does not support the same segmented chart of accounts structure. QuickBooks Enterprise does support five levels of classes that are user-defined, and are available in the transaction level. This is important when migrating over since these classes give users the ability to segment their businesses, for revenues and expenses.

Financial Reporting Tools in Sage 100 and QuickBooks Enterprise

Both Sage 100 and QuickBooks Enterprise support a financial reporting tool. While Sage 100’s Financial Reporter can handle your reporting needs regardless of the size of your business, QuickBooks Enterprise was made to do the same exact thing while still being very simplistic for use. Keep in mind for when you decide to convert Sage 100 to QuickBooks Enterprise, a custom program needs to be created for a secure data migration. Also, reports need to be ran from Sage 100 before the data migration.

Sage 100 and QuickBooks Enterprise User-Defined Fields

Sage 100 and QuickBooks Enterprise both support user-defined fields such as customers, vendors, items, etc. Since Sage 100 and QuickBooks Enterprise have two different ways of supporting user-defined fields at the transaction level, this further extends data analysis while migrating over to QuickBooks Enterprise.
